The dining line-up ranges from Grand Cafe, Station Casinos’ most popular 24 hour American dining bistro, to Cabo Mexican Restaurant, serving authentic Mexican fare and the Terra Rossa Italian Restaurant. As for dining, Red Rock has nine restaurants and a food court, with most dining venues offering outdoor patio seating. Standard room amenities include 42″ high-definition televisions, iPod docking stations, automated private bars and 17″ LCD televisions in the bathrooms. With a 20 floor tower featuring more than 800 rooms, guests staying on the top floors can experience spectacular views of the Strip and the Red Rock mountains. The 87,000-square-foot casino showcases 3,000 slot and poker machines, 60 table games, race and sports book, a poker room, bingo parlor and a private high-limit room.

Red Rock’s design is contemporary with desert-modern architecture. The hotel is a 15-minute drive from McCarran International Airport. It is accessible via Interstate 215 at Charleston Blvd., approximately 10 miles west of the Las Vegas Strip. We shared several dishes – all excellent – some highlights included Chilean Sea Bass with Sweet & Sour Sauce, Penny’s Ceviche, Garlic Prawns, and of course the Crispy Duck Panang.īy the way, their base sauce recipes are a secret. Only three people know the recipes according to Chef Saipin in the Las Vegas Review-Journal. Craving the exotic flavors of Lotus’s stellar dish, I set out to create my own version of Crispy Duck Panang.Red Rock Casino, Resort and Spa is the multi-million dollar property located near Red Rock Canyon. We enjoyed a bottle of the lovely HeavenSake with our meal. And the award-winning wine list and service are impeccable. The elevated food is obviously not your local hole-in-the-wall Thai menu (although there is nothing wrong with that!). Eater Vegas chose their Chiang Mai-inspired style as the Best Design of the Year. The design of the restaurant is casual yet breathtaking, and everything one would expect from a new Red Rock concept. Lotus of Siam’s 3rd location at Red Rock Casino Resort opened in November 2022, with Saipin’s daughter, Penny, at the helm.

She received the coveted James Beard award for Southwest Region Chef in 2011. Chef Saipin’s cooking revolves around the Northern Thai recipes passed down from generations of her family.
